Julie Clover

Julie joined Climate Central in 2023 as Director of Foundation Relations. She brings over a decade of foundation development experience, most recently serving as Director of Foundation Relations at the Children’s Defense Fund, where over four years she significantly increased the number of foundation donors to help launch vital new initiatives and support signature programming.

She previously held a senior foundation development role at the Brookings Institution, securing funds for their Economic Studies Program. Prior to her development roles, Julie was assistant director of the Center on Children and Families at Brookings, managing events, publications, donor relations, and other special projects.

Julie earned her BA from Vassar College in International Studies and her MPA from American University. Julie is based in Washington, DC.
